It’s my time for me,
So this spark can be,
Something more I can share with the world.

My children come first,
And this is my hobby,
To be done for no one but me.

Time to think,
Let the words flow,
Off my mind and written as word.

Trace my silent thoughts as I travel this path,
And I’ve seen my audience grow.

Filling and following,
One then two now three,
My talent is beginning to bloom.

People take notice,
I use to think this childish and atrocious,
Only saying cute rhymes to my kids.

As the days travel on,
Whatever this form,
Flows easily out of my hand,

For my mind at ease,
My heart not to freeze,
I finally have an outlet to the world,

Presented to include and belong,
Some sing it as song,
This will be mine to keep,
For the moments we weep.
