The real vibrant spirit.

The real vibrant spirit.

Getting to know God has been a journey for sure,
As I started out a little girl on the floor,
I sat there thinking in wonder and awe,
Who this God is, distant from my floor,

The years past and my heart seemed to fade,
Growing slowly, belief dismayed,
I sat wondering on the garden floor,
What was the point of all this, what was it all for?

I weaved and I twined through life’s thorns,
Only to end up back at God’s door,
I knocked, I begged it to open,
Throwing my heart down totally broken,

Let down by the world, was God still around,
Then I heard this distant, far off sound,
It was so quiet, it was so dear,
It was God calling me back near,

And as I grew to know Him more,
The sounds got louder as as I would hear God rour with laughter,
A giggle a chuckle,
Enjoy a good joke and knew about funny?
Who was this Lord, which I once thought is dull,
As an adult He is so vibrant, so cheerful, so loud,
The colour of him are like light in cracked glass,
Magical mystical and full of great dance,

This in-depth spirit, which I once thought so dull, distant, forgetful is now so loud.

He’s cheerful, funny, gets me to a T,
Who knew my God, this is the way He can be.

The depth of conversation, of light, of love,
The deepeness of meaning stretched out from above,
The warm sunlit cuddles, wrapped up in white,
Touch all the places I thought where not right.

My God is great, my God is good,
He’s full of feeling and healing and meaning,
Beyond what you think He could.

God cares for the micro,
The detail of tiny little cells,
How much can he care for our problems,
Can you tell?
He is so expensive, beyond comprehension,
C’mon now man, give Him your problem.

Lord, I pray over any lost souls, that need to find you so you can bless their souls. Keep them near to you, keep them safe so they may knock at yours – heaven’s gates. In Jesus name, amen.
