Praise and Glory

Praise and Glory

Oh heavenly father,
you work your wonder,
You take control of my life,
Your hand forever, your word withstanding,
Your grace is full of
Heart and soul.

I’m undeserving of your wonder,
Of your glorious works,
You forgive me,
Thanks to mercy,
My soul forever
Is yours.

My father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be your name,
A place in my heart,
A place forever,
A place of glory,
You will reign,

My body’s yours Lord,
My heart and soul Lord,
Forever reign my life,
Blessed by your mercy,
Blessed by your mercy,
My thankfulness comes in tides.

Thank you more,
Thank you more,
Forever I am yours,

Thank you Lord God for your grace
And for your mercy,
Indeed I am yours.

Thank you Lord,
Thank you Lord,
Take my heart and my soul,
Transform me,
Renew me,
Forever, yours.

Take my children,
And their children,
Help me carve those arrow heads,
And lead them for your glory,
Into battles,
To win glory for you name,
Cos in the Bible,
That’s what you say,

Use home battles,
To sharpen us,
For Your glory,
For You name,
For Your kingdom,
Stays the same,

Forever, in your name….

Amen.

When Satan comes lean in the Lord…

When Satan comes lean in the Lord…

A prayer to Heaven, to my glorious Lord who lives there shared this song with me in the wee hours on my birthday morning when Satan tried his hand at taking away the happy things of Gods plans for me today by stealing peace, love centred happiness. Satan, for who he is threw a blood curdling scream from my child breaking dawn, relentless, stealing my inner peace (and sleep) and threw me into overwhelm… They settled, the rooster at 5:20am which I haven’t heard for months starts crowing, and not long later someone’s tooting out the front several times, then little footsteps and flicking the light switch from my kids room, anxiety trying to click in – well, called you out Satan, gifting me overwhelm, anxiety, fear and more as a birthday gift – I caught you out and the gift? I’m giving it to my father in heaven – so watch out, he will make you a footstool in his son’s name.

Dear dear dear Lord,
Dear dear dear Lord
Dear dear dear Lord
Dear dear Lord let your light shine,
Shine your light,
Let people see your might,
Reigning down from heaven above,

Lord with me,
Show me your mercy,
Shine your light from heaven above,
When I am weak, you’re great,
Lord shine that heavenly face,

Lord I’ll be, at your mercy,
Pull me through what comes my way,
Lord guide me,
Lord bless me,
God show me you’re sweet grace,

Dear dear dear Lord,
Dear dear dear Lord,
Bring your grace,

Lord lead me,
Lord guide me,
Lord live in me your heavenly way,

Flood my body, with your mercy,
Shine your light through my face,

Dear dear dear Lord,
Dear dear dear Lord,
Oh, gift me with grace,

Dear Lord, oh dear Lord,
Bless this place,
You’re mighty,
you’re presence,
Your gifting grace,
Your in my place,

Lord fill me, Lord fill me,
Fill up that empty pit inside,
That empty feeling, at your mercy,
The one where the darkness tries to reside,
Fill with your presence,
Fill with your glory,
Lord fill me with your non parting way,

Dear dear dear Lord
Dear dear dear Lord
Dear dear dear Lord
Fill me here,

Oh Lord fill me,
Godly,
Help me stomp that serpents face,
Crush with my heel,
Under your glory,
Bring victory to your name,

You Overcomer,
Changer,
Let me be your different way,
Lord fill me,
With your glory,

Lord shine your light through my face.

Dear dear dear Lord,
dear dear dear Lord,
dear dear dear Lord, ahy-men.

Honouring Mum

Honouring Mum

My mum and I have had ups and downs, rest, repair, love and care;
My mum has taught me many things, in her own way, showing me the things so I wouldn’t go without;
She has shown me friendship, as a young girl on our walks,
Community, caring for others, offering a hand where it can work,
Taking someone to church, when they couldn’t walk,
Building community, saying hi to others as they pass by,
Working for income, to raise us in faith,
To bound us, found us, and build our grace,
For the bigger picture,
For the base of love,
For the circle of family,
With the heart of mum.
Caring, kind, patient, forgiving, full and giving.
My mum is a mum, one made just for me,
In friendship, in love, in community.

A praise song

A praise song

Oh what a friend I have in Jesus,
He shelters and protects my soul,
Oh what a friend I have in Jesus,
There is no where else to go.

I lift him up, reach out my hands,
Praise on my heart and my feet steadfast on his word,

Clap to the heaven’s, clap to my lord,
Raise up my voice, so every soul
Can hear the glory, the Lord has blessed me,
With a man and my boy,

Praise to Jesus, praise to God,
The Holy Spirit, hands to you now,
Thankful, I’m to the ground,

You are near me, everyday,
Taking on the pleasure, and my pain,
You see it all, my dear Lord,
Blessed is my spirit, refreshed is my soul,

Come Holy Spirit, come Trinity,
Come fill me with your life,
My spirit free,
Fill my home, fill my life,
Shine your spirit inside out.

Holy Spirit, fill me now,
You are mighty and divine,
You are strong when I am weak,
Blessed is my spirit, you’ve set me free.

Glory and Grace

Glory and Grace

Praise to you for l am found
Praise to you, the highest,
Praise to you for the sons and daughters,
Praise to you my God.

There’s waves crashing down,
All over the sea,
There’s waves in my life,
Crashing over me,
Lord in your strength, my good Lord rescues me,

And I will give thanks,
I will say your name,
Oh holy spirit, Jesus, Lord, God
The Holy Trinity.

And I will step out, my faith,
In your name and mighty grace,
And I will sing your praise,
Oh oh Lord.

Forgive me of my sins,
Forever I’m confessing more,
The glory of my Lord will raise,
For I have seen your grace,
I will call you by your name,
My touch will be held strong as you move across this place,
My hand will brush your coat, ohh Lord,

And I will give you thanks,
For the glory of this place,
Heaven will be my home someday,
To remain with you, forever more.

By my father’s side, blessing be my bride,
Heavenly father, I’ll shout your name.

For there’s your glory in this place,
And I’ve seen your power and your grace,
The kind and just God you are,
Forever I’ll sing your praise

For I will give you thanks,
Glory for the grace,
While you’re working at your pace,
You plant a smile upon my face,
I will sing your glory Oh Lord.
Forevermore.

The real vibrant spirit.

The real vibrant spirit.

Getting to know God has been a journey for sure,
As I started out a little girl on the floor,
I sat there thinking in wonder and awe,
Who this God is, distant from my floor,

The years past and my heart seemed to fade,
Growing slowly, belief dismayed,
I sat wondering on the garden floor,
What was the point of all this, what was it all for?

I weaved and I twined through life’s thorns,
Only to end up back at God’s door,
I knocked, I begged it to open,
Throwing my heart down totally broken,

Let down by the world, was God still around,
Then I heard this distant, far off sound,
It was so quiet, it was so dear,
It was God calling me back near,

And as I grew to know Him more,
The sounds got louder as as I would hear God rour with laughter,
A giggle a chuckle,
Enjoy a good joke and knew about funny?
Who was this Lord, which I once thought is dull,
As an adult He is so vibrant, so cheerful, so loud,
The colour of him are like light in cracked glass,
Magical mystical and full of great dance,

This in-depth spirit, which I once thought so dull, distant, forgetful is now so loud.

He’s cheerful, funny, gets me to a T,
Who knew my God, this is the way He can be.

The depth of conversation, of light, of love,
The deepeness of meaning stretched out from above,
The warm sunlit cuddles, wrapped up in white,
Touch all the places I thought where not right.

My God is great, my God is good,
He’s full of feeling and healing and meaning,
Beyond what you think He could.

God cares for the micro,
The detail of tiny little cells,
How much can he care for our problems,
Can you tell?
He is so expensive, beyond comprehension,
C’mon now man, give Him your problem.

Lord, I pray over any lost souls, that need to find you so you can bless their souls. Keep them near to you, keep them safe so they may knock at yours – heaven’s gates. In Jesus name, amen.
